Well, it's about time we had a new post. We have certainly enjoyed our time at Staff Conference.

A particular thrill for Kristine and Jesse was to meet Paul Henderson and to shake his hand. After they saw his video they had a great appreciation in meeting him. Marj and I also sat in on one of his seminars and enjoyed that too. He strongly recommended that we read a book that he enjoyed, so much so that he gave us each a copy. We are looking forward to reading it.

Our main quest speaker was Mark Driscoll, who spoke on the cross and on atonement among other things. He was great. He certainly does not pull his punches when he speaks. You're not left wondering where he stands. That was refreshing.
